1. ABOUT Becca novak-

Becca is a wedding photographer serving clients throughout the Rocky Mountain region, Kentucky, and beyond. She keeps her circle small and her calendar selective, allowing her to offer a deeply personal and highly considered experience. She tends to the sort of celebrations that have a little history in them. Intimate gatherings. Heritage celebrations. The kind of affairs where what’s left unsaid matters just as much as what’s spoken aloud.

With nearly a decade behind the lens and a background in art and design, which means she don’t just look at a wedding—she reads it. Sees the relationships, the rhythms, the quiet tensions, the tenderness. She understands that a wedding weekend is a living thing, full of moving parts and meaningful pauses, and she documents it with intention, restraint, and a strong sense of story.

Her clients tend to be the same sort: thoughtful, private, and averse to unnecessary noise. They are drawn to meaningful places like Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and other parts of the country where they can gather with the people they love most in settings that feel true to who they are. A place where they their celebration can breathe a little. Becca meets them there, calm as you please, and makes photographs that feel personal, cinematic and like they’ve got some staying power.

And Becca herself? Well, she values family time and her relationship with Jesus above all. She enjoys life with her husband and children. When time allows, she turns to painting, baking, and gardening— creative pursuits that, much like good photography, are shaped by patience, timing, and attention to detail.

2. ABOUT the approach-

Photography, at its best, is storytelling. It is cinematic, yes, but also honest: wide frames that honor the land you steward, quiet exchanges with parents and grandparents, children running in and out of the moment like they own the place. I work with restraint and intention. I know when to step forward, when to disappear, and how to turn a weekend on your land into a body of work that will still ring true decades from now.

My process is highly crafted. With me, you can expect discretion, reliability, and calm competence. Working together should feel less like hiring a vendor and more like welcoming a trusted artisan into the family. I understand that my clients value privacy, humility, and understatement. They do not wish to show off — but they do expect excellence. I am comfortable traveling to remote locations. I am also comfortable with weather, livestock, and with the beautiful complications of outdoor logistics. I scout light at multiple times of day so that, whatever the circumstances, I can stay focused on what matters most: observing well and documenting truthfully.

This is what BNP offers: authenticity. The kind that cannot be fabricated or mass-produced. There is only one story, one journey, one marriage — yours. And I will capture it with the care it deserves. Photography is the one thing from your wedding that remains. Thirty years from now, this investment will still matter.

In a world increasingly given over to the mass-produced, the instantly gratified, and whatever passes for the next hot thing, BNP remains stubbornly classic. It is tactile. Intentional. The long way home, so to speak. And for those of us who still believe some things ought to be built to last, BNP feels a bit like home.

You will not find Becca chaotically running about a wedding day, photographing every object in sight just for the sake of having done so. No — She documents the day slow and right. Not because it’s fashionable. Because it’s honest. Because intentionality is not something you merely proclaim — it is something you live. With BNP, every frame is composed with the understanding that one day it may be printed, held, and handed down.

From the artist:

3. ABOUT the client-

Your story — is my deliverable.

My clients live in the world of heritage luxury. They are couples and families whose lives stretch between boardrooms, and back porches. They resist the disposable. They are not interested in what’s trending. Their wealth shows up not in flash, but in restraint: a legacy ranch, a mountain house with books and artisan textiles, a closet of well‑worn denim and wool that looks like it stepped out of a Double RL campaign. They live by craftsmanship and highly curated choices.

When they plan a wedding, they’re not planning a single day. They’re creating multi‑day experiences in the Mountain West, or wherever the land means most to them.

Now if I may, let me paint you a little picture.

Imagine, if you will, a little congregation of the quietly fortunate, gathered up in the mountains where the air is thin and the wallets are thick. This is not a one‑night reception in a windowless ballroom. This is a pilgrimage.

Day one, guests roll in slow. As a good hosts always does, Folks are presented with welcome drinks and are shown to cabins that look like they’ve been there a hundred years and cost more than most men make in ten. Leather chairs, stone fireplaces, and the kind of view that’ll make you reconsider your life choices.

You don’t rush a thing. That’s the beauty of it. This is slow luxury, mountain‑style. There’s bourbon by the fire, long tables under the aspens, and the kind of food that makes you forget you’re a day’s drive from anywhere. Morning might be a trail ride or fly-fishing on the river. Afternoon might be shooting clays or just sitting on a porch, watching the weather roll in like a movie.

By the time the ceremony comes around, everybody’s settled into the land. Vows are said with a mountain range as the only witness that doesn’t need an RSVP. Night drops, the band starts, and you find yourself dancing under a sky so full of stars it’s almost indecent.

And when it’s all said and done, nobody’s remembering hashtag signs or flashy shows. They remember how it felt. A whole weekend carved out of real life where time moved different, the air smelled crisp and pure, and for a few days in the high country, everybody had exactly what they wanted—room to breathe, room to celebrate, and a story they’ll be telling ‘til the good Lord calls us home.

Kind Words

Working with Becca throughout our engagement and wedding was such a seamless experience. The photos she captured felt genuine and real. There was no stiffness or posing; everything was natural and unforced.

Becca has an amazing ability to be in the background, yet still capture those beautiful, intimate moments. She has a gift for making people feel comfortable and letting the day unfold as it is! Her photos allow us to relive our favorite day and I’m so grateful for the memories they have preserved. Thank you, Becca!

HAYLEY & BENNETT

Finding a good wedding photographer whose vision was similar to mine was definitely a bit of a challenge. To me, the most important part was to capture the energy of our big day, so I was looking for someone who wouldn’t make us do endless rounds of stationary portraits with different groups of people, but would instead be able to blend in with our guests and hopefully also have some fun while taking photos.

I wanted to see lots of pictures of our guests, not just us in different settings. And I think Becca did a fantastic job! She was very easy and pleasant to work with. We came up with a short list of must have photos before hand, and aside from that I could just relax and enjoy the celebration. She made trusting her very easy.

I am very happy with the result too! The photos turned out to be full of life and our portraits are so beautiful that I think we could be on a magazine cover!

MASHA & ADAM

Becca went above and beyond to capture our engagement session. The day of our scheduled shoot was freezing cold and sprinkling off and on. Due to living out of town and only being home over a holiday weekend, rescheduling was not an option for us. Becca braved the cold with us and captured some amazing pictures even with the elements working against us.

BROC & EMILY

I highly recommend hiring Becca as a photographer! She has years of experience and knows how to perfectly capture each and every little detail in a photo. She loves being a photographer and you can really see her passion through her work. She takes time to make sure that everything in the photo is perfect while still looking natural at the same time. Becca is the sweetest person and she would do anything to make sure she captures the perfect photo. I would definitely recommend Becca to anyone!
